OBSERVATION:
'I will send you to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt', but Moses HEARD and asked; 'Who am I that I should bring the people out of Egypt?'
"God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" (v.14)
The name God gave Moses and the Israelites for Himself was, "I actually AM (I exist), I'm real". There is a God. This is the proof, that all around the evidence is speaking the truth. God is who He claims He is. As it is written in Isaiah 44:6, "Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: "I am the first and I am the last; besides me, there is no god."
Thank you, God, that You are the God, who You say You are!
APPLICATION:
Lord, there is no other god, You alone are the I AM, the truly Existent One. And I thank You, that You ARE truly everything You present Yourself to be in the Scriptures.
Help me to listen when YOU say YOU are going to do something. Help me not to look within myself or to my own resources.
I am growing to believe more, that You are precise in every word You speak, and faithful to every promise You make.
You want to demonstrate to the world through my life that YOU ARE GOD and there is no other! I will trust You to take us through every plan that you lay before me.
